Maksim “Maks” Reznik is an attorney whose practice focuses on bankruptcy and consumer protection matters. He is committed to helping individuals and businesses facing financial pressure understand their rights, evaluate their options, and move forward with confidence. Maks’s background in consumer protection law gives him a unique perspective when working with clients who are dealing with debt, credit reporting issues, creditor pressure, or financial uncertainty.

Before joining Scura, Wigfield, Heyer, Cammarota & Gonzalez, LLP, Maks represented individuals under federal consumer protection laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Through that work, he developed a strong understanding of the legal protections available to consumers when debt collectors, credit reporting agencies, or financial institutions fail to comply with the law. Today, Maks applies that experience to his work in bankruptcy and related matters. He approaches each case with the understanding that clients often come to the Firm during stressful and uncertain times. His goal is to provide clear guidance, practical advice, and steady advocacy throughout the legal process.
