Paul-Evangelista-01Paul S. Evangelista concentrates his practice in Consumer Bankruptcy Law and related matters, including debt negotiation, debt reorganization, work-outs, and collection matters. Mr. Evangelista has represented consumer debtors in Chapter 7, Chapter 13 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases successfully throughout New Jersey. 

 

Mr. Evangelista is a member of the Hudson County Bar Association and serves as a Trustee.  He is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Hudson Inn and Bankruptcy Inn of Court. He is a member in good standing of the State Bar of New Jersey and the Federal Bars of the District of New Jersey, the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York. In addition, Mr. Evangelista serves as a member of the District Ethics Committee for District VI. 

 

Aside from his dedicated representation of individual clients, Mr. Evangelista has volunteered his time through pro bono representation of low-income families through various organizations, including the Volunteer Lawyers for Justice and the Honorable Morris Stern Pro Bono Bankruptcy Project.  Mr. Evangelista was named Volunteer Lawyer of the Month by the Volunteer Lawyers for Justice for the month of June 2018.  

 

Mr. Evangelista received his B.A. Degree from Lehigh University and his Law Degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law.  He is also a graduate of St. Peter’s Preparatory School, Jersey City.  His professional experience includes a term as Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Kevin G. Callahan, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Hudson County.
